The Arctic Cat 500 Core with EFI was a SOHC 4-stroke 4-valve, liquid-cooled ATV produced by Arctic Cat in 2013.

A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 443.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 2 / 4 WD + Diff Lock, reverse, hi/lo range transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 25x8-12 front tire and a 25x11-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Double A-Arm. The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.

As its very name states it, the 2012 Arctic Cat 500 with EFI is is the electronic fuel injection version of the 500 Core ATV. This means better mileage, easier starting regardless of temperature and a smoother throttle feel, for increased confidence on rough terrain and an altogether pleasant ride.

The 2012 Arctic Cat 500 with EFI is an excellent recreational ATV, too: it is suitable for level, paved roads and muddy forest trails, alike and can offer huge loads of off-road fun. Its long-travel independent suspensions and generous ground clearance offer enhanced obstacle-tackling capabilities, while the dual-ratio automatic transmission and switchable 2WD/4WD provide optimal deployment when the going gets tough.
