The Arctic Cat 650 was a single cylinder, four-stroke ATV produced by Arctic Cat between 2006 and 2011.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 85.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 641.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 25/8-12 front tire and a 25/10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulic in the front and a single disc. hydraulic in the rear. The front suspension was a double a-arm while the rear was equipped with a double a-arm. The 650 was fitted with a 5.7 Gallon (21.57 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 676.82 pounds (307.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.
2006 Arctic Cat 650[edit | edit source]
The 633cc V-Twin engine comes from Kawasaki, which used the same power train in its Prairie 650. Talking about these ATV'S we have in mind two different base engine designs: the first, 650 H1 Hemi, which is a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 641cc four-stroke engine designed for massive low-end and midrange torque and the V2, a V-twin, liquid-cooled, 633cc four-stroke engine. Both engines have automatic transmissions.
