The bike has a 2 / 4 WD + Diff Lock, reverse, hi/lo range transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.

It came with a 27x11-R14 front tire and a 27x9-R14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Double A-Arm. The wheelbase was 75.0 inches (1905 mm) long.

The 2011 Prowler XT 1000i is the biggest recreational SxS in Arctic Cat's range, designed to comply with the rigors of both paved and unpaved roads.
