The bike has a 2 / 4 WD + Diff Lock, reverse, hi/lo range transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic Rapid Response Flyweight Clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 27x9-14 front tire and a 27x11-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a 5-link trailing arm. The wheelbase was 94.02 inches (2388 mm) long.

Built for two-up fun, the 2012 Arctic Cat Wildcat X is powered by a no-nonsense 951cc V-twin engine, coupled to a Rapid Response Clutch and switchable 2/4WD with electric front diff locking.
Fox Podium shocks deliver 18” of rear travel for a smooth rider over bumps and rough terrain and their fully adjustable preload and compression provide the perfect ground contact and power delivery. Power steering enhances cornering and maneuverability in tight situations and helps the rider keep a steady track. A rear cargo box provides 135 kg load capacity for gear and tools, water and snacks, all needed when going on an off-road adventure.
