Arlen Ness

The godfather of US customizing, Arlen Ness has been designing and building custom Harleys for around 30 years. He has concentrated on the Low Rider style and also builds outrageous bikes to showcase both his skills and his burgeoning custom parts business. 'Two Bad', for example, being powered by two supercharged 61ei (1000cc) Sportster V-twins. Arlen Ness parts are now an integral part of the custom movement. But though Arlen Ness (and his son Cory, who is part of the business) is thoroughly grounded in Harleys, there are signs of diversification and the latest addition to the catalogue is a set of Ness-branded race leathers.
