The BMW K 1300 GT was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, straight four cylinder, four valves per cylinder Sport touring motorcycle produced by BMW between 2009 and 2011. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Max torque was 100.31 ft/lbs (136.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 159.98 HP (119.3 KW) @ 9000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, straight four cylinder, four valves per cylinder. A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1293.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320 mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 295 mm disc, 2-piston floating calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a Duolever while the rear was equipped with a Paralever. The K 1300 GT was fitted with a 6.34 Gallon (24.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 562.18 pounds (255.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 61.89 inches (1572 mm) long.

Also, this powerful engine has been tweaked, so that most of its torque is available from only 3500 rpm.
