The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse six cylinder, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 12.2:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Multiplate wet clutch, hydraulically activated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x ∅320mm discs, 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single ∅320mm disc, 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Dual longitudinal control arm while the rear was equipped with a Paralever (single-sided swing arm), central spring strut, rebound/continuously variable. The K1600GT Sport was fitted with a 26.5 Liters / 7.0 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 295 kg / 650 lbs. The wheelbase was 1680 mm / 66.1 in long.

BMW K1600GT Sport is a take on the companys flagship tourer, the K1600GT, but with a sportier, BMW lists the changes to the 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport from its paterfamilias as follows, making this strictly a minor derivative of the current K-bike:
