The BMW K 1600 GTL E Luxury was a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line six cylinders, DOHC Touring motorcycle produced by BMW in 2012. Max torque was 129.08 ft/lbs (175.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 159.05 HP (118.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
It came with a 120/70-ZR17 front tire and a 180/55-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc, EVO, ABS in the front and a single disc, EVO, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Duolever while the rear was equipped with a Paralever. The K 1600 GTL E Luxury was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 66.1 inches (1679 mm) long.

This muscular touring machine also boasts the Duolever/Paralever front/rear suspension package, as well as a slipper cluch and the EVO braking system with ABS, which make for one of the most safe, as well as comfortable touring machines available on the market.
At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1649cc, in-line six cylinder powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce an impressive 160 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque.
