The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, two cylinder horizontally opposed Boxer, 2 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 8.45:1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Dry single plate, with lever action diaphragm spring.

It came with a 90/90 18 51 H front tire and a 120/90 18 65 H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x ∅285mm discs, 2 piston calipers in the front and a Simplex, ∅200 mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork with hydraulic shock absorber. while the rear was equipped with a BMW Monolever swinging arm.
