The engine featured a 12.5;1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Single dry plate clutch, Ø 180 mm.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 195/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 305mm discs 4 piston caliper in the front and a Single 265mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a BMW Telelever with Öhlins suspension strut, 110 wheel travel while the rear was equipped with a BMW Paralever with Öhlins suspension strut, 120 wheel travel. The BMW R1200S Endurance Racer was fitted with a 23 Liters fuel tank.

built till 2008, It was entered for one of the worlds toughest endurance races, the Le Mans 24-hour in 2007.
The 140bhp, 195kg (fully-fuelled) R1200S based machine was
be ridden by road racers with BMW Cup experience: Stéphane Mertens, Thomas
Hinterreiter and Rico Penzkofer, with Marcus Barth as the back-up rider.
