2010 BMW R 1200 R Touring Edition[edit | edit source]
The engineers from the House of Munich have successfully combined the comfort and functionality of a touring bike with the raw power and extreme agility of big-bore naked bike, in the embodiment of the 2010 MY BMW R 1200 R Touring Edition. They have taken a base R 1200 R, and added a few extra features as standard, which significantly increase its long haul capabilities, without sacrificing its trademark raw power output and superior maneuverability. It comes standard with hard saddlebags, a sport windshield, a comfort two-up seat, a luggage rack, an on-board computer, a chromed exhaust system, as well as white turn indicators, without racing the price tag too high, as opposed to the base model. This machine addresses those riders who want a fast, raw and agile ride, but also want to spend as much time as possible behind the bars.
