The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Rotax 1330 ACE, four stroke, transverse three cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder. The engine featured a 12.2:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate, manual or electronic operation through a hydraulic piston.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a MC165 / 55R15 55H front tire and a MC225 / 50R15 76H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 270mm discs 4 piston caliper per wheel in the front and a Single 270mm disc 2 piston caliper, with integrated parking brake in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-arms with anti-roll bar, Gas-charged FOX† PODIUM† shocks while the rear was equipped with a Swing-arm with basic monoshock SACHS† shock absorber. The Spyder F3-S Daytona 500 Special Edition was fitted with a 27 Liters / 7.1 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 386 kg / 850 lbs. The wheelbase was 1709 mm / 67.3 in long.
