The Bajaj DISCOVER 125 DTS-i was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, Air-cooled Naked motorcycle produced by Bajaj between 2004 and 2009. Max torque was 8.11 ft/lbs (11.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 11.53 HP (8.6 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

A 53.3mm bore x 53.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.5 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75-17 front tire and a 3.00-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Trailing arm with dual coaxial springs with hydraulic shocks absorbers, adjustable. The wheelbase was 51.42 inches (1306 mm) long.

Bajaj lunched in 2004 Discover 125 DTS-i with an engine capacity of 125cc. The Discover was the second bike to come with the six spoke alloys and the patented Exhaus-Tec.

The 2009 Discover 125 DTS-i, is one amongst the first Discover models that the company had introduced to the Indian market. The bike offered now is similar to the older version of the Discover model, but gets new features and styling bits. This model is powered by the same 124.6cc four-stroke, air-cooled, two-valve DTS-i engine that produces 10.9 hp of power and 10.8Nm of torque. This mill comes mated to a five-speed constant mesh gearbox that uses a wet multi-plate clutch arrangement.
