The Bajaj Platina 100 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Bajaj between 2007 and 2015. Max torque was 5.9 ft/lbs (8.0 Nm) @ 4500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 8.05 HP (6.0 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 47.0mm bore x 58.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 99.3 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the constant mesh.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75-17 front tire and a 3.00-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic, telescopic type while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic, telescopic type. The Platina 100 was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank.
