The Bajaj Pulsar 180 was a single cylinder, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 2005 and 2015. It could reach a top speed of 84 mph (135 km/h). Max torque was 10.47 ft/lbs (14.2 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 16.63 HP (12.4 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 49.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 178.6 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multidisc.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 90/90-17 front tire and a 120/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, with anti-friction bush while the rear was equiped with a 5 way adjustable, nitrox shock absorber.
