The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Suzuki TL-1000, 90°-V-twin, four stroke, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 11.3:1 (S) 11.8:1 (R) compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/50-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double perforated discs, 320 mm with 4-piston calipers, Brembo in the front and a Single steel disc, 220 mm with 2-piston caliper, Brembo in the rear. The front suspension was a Hydraulic telescopic fork, 50 mm Ø, fully adjustable spring preload, compression and rebound damping while the rear was equipped with a Bakker, aluminum double sided swingarm, mono-shock with progressive link system Öhlins/HK suspension, fully adjustable spring preload, compression and rebound damping. The Barranuda was fitted with a Bakker aluminum tank, 20 L / 5.3 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 175 kg / 386 lbs. The wheelbase was 1450 mm / 57.1 in long.

This basically the same motorcycle as the Barracuda only it has a different streamline, tank and handlebars which make the bike look more naked (hence the name Barranuda).


The Barranuda provides you with a less sporty ride posture more suited for touring on a still very sporty motorcycle.
