The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks.

The 1979 MY Benelli 125 2C has, at its heart, an air-cooled, two-stroke, 124cc, twin cylinder powerplant paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 17 horsepower at 8000 rpm. Standard features include a telescopic front fork, dual shock absorbers as a rear suspension, a front disc brake, laced wheels, a chromed dual exhaust system, a dual seat, a tank-mounted speedometer, an analogue instrument panel and wide handlebars.
