The Benelli 654 SPORT was a In Line Four, 4-stroke, Air-cooled Sport touring motorcycle produced by Benelli in 1982. Max torque was 36.88 ft/lbs (50.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 50.02 HP (37.3 KW) @ 8700 RPM.

A 61.0mm bore x 61.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 604.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-18 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual Disc in the front and a Single Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telehydraulic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm forks, adjustable shocks.

1982 - 1986 Benelli 654 SPORT[edit | edit source]

Although the Benelli 654 Sport is an old bike, being released in 1982, people are still interested in it, mostly because of its four stroke, air cooled engine which develops 60 horsepower at 8700rpm and 50 Nm of torque at 7000rpm.
