The Benelli BX449 Cross was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Benelli between 2008 and 2011. Max torque was 33.19 ft/lbs (45.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 54.18 HP (40.4 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

A 98.0mm bore x 59.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, 7 steel disks.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 110/90-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. wave in the front and a single disc. wave in the rear. The front suspension was a 50 mm fully adjustable while the rear was equipped with a sachs shock absorber fully adjustable. The BX449 Cross was fitted with a 2.38 Gallon (9.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 238.1 pounds (108.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.

The 2008 MY Benelli BX 449 Cross is a middle-weight moto-cross machine that addresses those riders who prefer a balance between power and agility. It sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 55 horsepower and 45 Nm of torque.
Standard features include laced wheels, a fully-adjustable, 50mm upside-down fork in the front, a Sachs fully-adjustable shock absorber, front and rear disc brakes, a dual seat, a race-inspired livery, off-road tires, a digital instrumentation panel, a small headlight, and an under-seat exhaust system.
