The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder,. The engine featured a 12.5:1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 R17 front tire and a 150/60 R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single floating 320mm disc, 4 piston radial caliper in the front and a Single 220 mm disc, single piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 50 mm upside-down fork, with hydraulic extension and compression adjustments , 272 wheel travel. while the rear was equipped with a Aluminum casted swingarm, progressive rear damper completely adjustable in extension, compression and spring preload. The BX570 Motard was fitted with a 8.5 L / 2.2 US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1450 mm / 57.1 in long.
