The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 66.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 499.6 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (DOHC).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-r17 front tire and a 160/60-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs in the front and a single disc. abs in the rear. The front suspension was a upside down 50mm fork while the rear was equipped with a rear swing arm with lateral shock absorber with spring preload adjustment and hydraulic rebound brake adjustable. 2016 Benelli Leoncino[edit | edit source]
The 2016 MY Benelli Leoncino has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 500cc, in-line two cylinder powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 48 horsepower and 45 Nm of torque.
It also boasts standard features such as laced wheels with off-road tires, a 50mm upside-down fork, an adjustable mono-shock as a rear suspension, a digital and analogue instrument panel, a comfortable dual seat, plus a blacked-out finish on its fork, wheel rims and engine accents.
