The Benelli Tre899K was a in-line three, four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by Benelli between 2002 and 2019. Max torque was 55.32 ft/lbs (75.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 102.45 HP (76.4 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line three, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 49.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 899.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a upside down fork while the rear was equipped with a asd steel tube trellis swingarm. The Tre899K was fitted with a 5.81 Gallon (22.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 473.99 pounds (215.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.65 inches (1515 mm) long.

The 2011 MY Benelli Tre-K 899 is a powerful yet agile naked two-wheeler that is also suitable for those riders who want to spend more time in the saddle. It has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 898cc, transverse three cylinder powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 105 horsepower and 75 Nm of torque.

It also comes with detachable, lockable saddlebags, a dual seat, passenger grab rails, a small fairing with a windscreen, a large, 21-liter (5.5-gallon) fuel tank, a 50mm Marzocchi upside-down fork coupled to an adjustable Sachs mono-shock in the rear, a braking system with dual 320mm discs in the front, plus an under-belly to under-seat exhaust system.
