The Benelli Velvet 250 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Benelli between 2007 and 2011. Max torque was 16.96 ft/lbs (23.0 Nm) @ 5750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 19.31 HP (14.4 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 66.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 248.0 cubic centimeters.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr13 front tire and a 140/70-zr12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic telescopic fork ø33 mm while the rear was equipped with a floating engine with double hydraulic rear dumper. The Velvet 250 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 299.83 pounds (136.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.12 inches (1400 mm) long.
