The Bimota DB12 B Tourist was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Bimota in 2013. Max torque was 91.83 ft/lbs (124.5 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 144.83 HP (108.0 KW) @ 9250 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 106.0mm bore x 67.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1198.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the light action, wet, multiplate clutch with hydraulic control. self-servo action on drive, slipper action on over-run.
