The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, 90°Ltwin cylinder, SOHC, desmodromic 4 valve per cylinder,. The engine featured a 12.7:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet multiple plates, hydraulic system.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm / 12.6 in Brembo floating discs 4 pistons radial Brembo calipers, radial pumps in the front and a Single 220mm / 8.7 in. floating disc, 2-piston Brembo caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi USD forks DLC fully adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Extreme Tech Monoshock fully adjustable. The DB8 Italia was fitted with a 16 Liters / 4.2 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 178 kg / 392.4 lbs. The wheelbase was 1435 mm / 56.5 in. long.
