The Bimota DB9 Brivido was a v2, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Bimota between 2012 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 162 mph (260 km/h). Max torque was 96.92 ft/lbs (131.4 Nm) @ 7700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 158.51 HP (118.2 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 106.0mm bore x 67.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1198.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 190/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. brembo calipers four pistons, four separates pads, radial pump. in the front and a single disc. bremo 2-pistons in the rear. The front suspension was a ohlins 43mm preload -fully adjustable and dlc treated upside-down forks while the rear was equipped with a ohlins preload-fully adjustable top and lower speed monoshock. The DB9 Brivido was fitted with a 4.76 Gallon (18.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 390.22 pounds (177.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.3 inches (1430 mm) long.

The 2012 MY Bimota DB9 Brivido has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1198cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission that can produce a claimed 162 horsepower and 131 Nm of torque.

Standard features include a 43mm upside-down fork, a fully-adjustable mono-shock as a rear suspension, a Brembo braking system with dual 320mm front discs and a smaller, 220mm discs in the rear, blacked-out, forged-aluminum wheels, a digital instrument cluster, an under-belly exhaust system, a single seat and a nose-fairing.

The 2012 MY Bimota DB9 Brivido S is the performance-oriented version of the naked range from Bimota, and has a single front disc brake. It also shares other components with the base model, such as the 43mm upside-down fork, a fully-adjustable mono-shock as a rear suspension, the blacked-out, forged-aluminum wheels, a digital instrument cluster, an under-belly exhaust system, a single seat and a nose-fairing.
