Engine

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, 90°“L”twin cylinder, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.4:1 compression ratio.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 245mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Swinging arm with Marzocchi single shock stepless preload 10-way compression and 25-way preload damping adjustment while the rear was equipped with a Marzocchi single shock stepless preload 10-way compression and 25-way preload damping adjustment. Bimota Tesi ID 904ES

The abbreviation "ES" stands for "Edizione Speciale". This was a limited edition of the Tesi 1D. It was put into production to commemorate the 20th year of the founding of Bimota. Only 50 of these bikes were built. New features included rear view mirrors, the bridging connections between screen and fuel tank. The trapezoidal headlight, air intakes, wheels were now the modular Akront used on the Furano and YB10 Biposto. The new fork was now machined not cast as previous.
