The CCM GP450 RS was a single cylinder, four-stroke Adventure motorcycle produced by CCM between 2014 and 2017. It could reach a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Max torque was 31.57 ft/lbs (42.8 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 39.43 HP (29.4 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 59.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.5 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiple-disc, wet, cable operated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 120/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. brembo caliper in the front and a single disc. brembo caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a wp upside down forks, rebound damping 18 stages, compression 12 stages while the rear was equipped with a cast aluminum swingarm and linkage system, shock absorber with pre load adjustment, 12 damping stages, 24 compression stages.. The GP450 RS was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 276.68 pounds (125.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.45 inches (1510 mm) long.
2014 CCM GP450 Adventure[edit | edit source]
The 2014 MY CCM GP450 Adventure sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 40 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque. This adventure machine comes standard with an inverted front fork, a disc braking system with Brembo calipers, a preload adjustable rear monoshock, laced wheels, and a dual seat.
The British brand also offers lots of optional storage compartments it can be fitted onto it, allowing the rider to spend as much time as possible in the saddle. It's dry weight of only 125 kg allow it to tackle much harsher terrains, as opposed to bigger-bore adventure machines.
