The Cagiva Raptor 125 was a single cylinder, two-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Cagiva between 1998 and 2012. It could reach a top speed of 75 mph (120 km/h). Max torque was 10.33 ft/lbs (14.0 Nm) @ 8250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 14.48 HP (10.8 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 56.0mm bore x 50.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.6 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-zr17 front tire and a 150/60-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a upd telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a sachs progressive with hydraulic shock absorbers. The Raptor 125 was fitted with a 3.3 Gallon (12.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 275.58 pounds (125.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.

The 1998 MY Cagiva Raptor 125 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 125cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission that can reach a maximum power output of 24 horsepower and 18 Nm of torque.

It also comes with an upside-down telescopic front fork coupled to an adjustable mono-shock in the rear, front and rear disc brakes, a large, round headlight, analogue instrumentation dials, a chromed exhaust system, a single seat, blacked-out, cast-aluminum wheels, a blacked-out frame and wide handlebars.

The 2003 MY Cagiva Raptor 125 comes with features such as an upside-down telescopic front fork coupled to an adjustable mono-shock in the rear, front and rear disc brakes, a large, round headlight, analogue instrumentation dials, a chromed exhaust system, a single seat, blacked-out, cast-aluminum wheels, a blacked-out frame and wide handlebars.

In the engine department, it comes equipped with a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 125cc, single cylinder powerplant, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 24 horsepower and 18 Nm of torque.

The 2013 model also comes with an improved exhaust system and a new linkage for the rear suspension. Talking about suspension, the Raptor 125’s chassis consists of a front powerful 40 mm inverted fork and a rear Sachs shock absorber with adjustable pre-load.
