The 2011 Can-Am Commander 800R XT brings new toys to the game, providing better off-road capabilities and thus raising the bar in terms of performance and fun. This quad provides ample storage room in watertight spaces, cargo box and upper loading bed. You can haul a lot of luggage on your longer trips in the wild, while this loading capacity is also a great asset for work-related tasks, too.

The XT trim comes with a powerful Warn winch, cast aluminum machined-finish wheels, mudguards and a sturdy front bumper. Since heavy-duty is the name of the game, rugged bed rails are also standard, offering safer loading and more protection to the SxS. Thanks to the top-drawer shocks with long travel and the generous ground clearance, the 2011 Can-Am Commander 800R XT can go pretty much anywhere in style.

2015 Can-Am/ Brp Commander 800R XT[edit | edit source]

The 2015 MY Can-Am Commander 800R XT addresses riders who want a SxS capable of accomplishing a wide variety of tasks on the job site, as well as weekend leisure strolls through rugged terrain, solo or with a passenger. It comes standard with a 71 horsepower, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 799cc, Rotax V-twin powerhouse mated to a continuously variable transmission. In addition, it has a state-of-the-art Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC), which offers two selectable riding modes, Progressive or Sport.

Other features worth mentioning and which come as standard, would be the WARN winch, the 27" Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires, the heavy-duty frond bumper, bed rails and mudguards, as well as the tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering.
