The Can-Am/ Brp Maverick 1000R Turbo was a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, Rotax turbocharged V-twin ATV produced by Can-Am/ Brp in 2015.

The bike has a Quick Response System (QRS) CVT, L / H / N / R / P transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 28 x 9 x 14 in front tire and a Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 28 x 11 x 14 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the front and a dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic single-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm, FOX 2.0 PODIUM C Piggyback with compression and preload adjustments while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing A-arms independent rear suspension (TTA) with sway bar, FOX 2.0 PODIUM C Piggyback with compression and preload adjustments. The Maverick 1000R Turbo was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 87.99 inches (2235 mm) long.
2015 Can-Am/ Brp Maverick 1000R Turbo[edit | edit source]
Unlike the base Maverick, the 2015 MY Can-Am Maverick 1000R Turbo comes with a turbo charger, that significantly boosts its power output by 30 horsepower. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 976cc, Rotax turbocharged V-twin engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), with a Quick Response System (QRS) and an Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) that has two selectable riding modes, Progressive and Sport.
In addition, it comes standard with tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering, 14" black cast-aluminum wheels, a redesigned Torsional Trailing Arm (TTA) rear suspension, a high airflow airbox, an aerodynamic bodywork, a mid-engine layout, as well as a rider-focused cockpit for improved performance and comfort.
