A 81.3mm bore x 81.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 649.6 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 2w/4w shaft driven with Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 26 x 8 x 12 front tire and a 26 x 10 x 12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 inboard hydraulic discs in the front and a 1 inboard hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing arm Independent. The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.
2010 Can-Am/ Brp Outlander 650 XT-P[edit | edit source]
The 2009 Can-Am Outlander 650 XT-P is as high as the 650cc model can go: if you thought the XT was nifty, prepare for the premium version of that ATV, now looking better and more able to provide its rider with quality off-road time.
The XT-P package brings mudguards and painted plastic side panels to complement the black cast aluminum wheels with yellow inserts. The front and rear bumpers and handlebar deflectors are standard, just like the powerful winch and dynamic power steering. The 2010 Can-Am Outlander 650 XT-P comes with three level of assistance for the Dynamic Power Steering system, cast aluminum wheels, a powerful winch with roller fairleads and wired remote control, bumpers in the front and in the back, hand protectors and mudguards. All atop of the series' standard 2/4WD, selectable high and low automatic transmission ratios, independent suspensions and other features which have made so many riders love the Outlander.
