Derived from the basic 800R, the 2009 Can-Am Renegade 800R X XC is an upgraded version, more capable of providing dependable performance in the tightest of situations than its less-endowed sibling. One of the most important extras is the tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering, allowing a better directional control in difficult scenarios and offering a less fatiguing riding experience on rough terrain.
This ATV also sports a new front sway bar, beadlock aluminum wheels, skid plates and handlebar deflectors and a special graphics package. The dual-ratio automatic gearbox and the auto-locking front differential expands the applicability horizon for the 2009 Can-Am Renegade 800R, making it a true 2-in-1 machine, equally adapted to leisure cruises, wilderness exploration or work, and to the rigors of trail racing.
Upgraded KYB HPG shocks, a powerful 240W lighting array, powerful 650W magneto and aluminum taper profile handlebars are also standard equipment.
