The bike has a 5-speed, manual or semi-auto, both with reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 165 / 55 R15 front tire and a 225 / 50 R15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 270 mm discs with Brembo 4-piston fixed calipers in the front and a 270 mm disc with Brembo single-piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm with anti-roll bar, Sachs shocks while the rear was equipped with a swing arm, air preload SACHS shock. The wheelbase was 67.52 inches (1715 mm) long.

It comes standard with features such as the AM/FM audio system with handlebar controls, with two front speakers and complete iPod integration with full-feature handlebar control, speed-compensating volume, heated passenger handgrips with intensity controls, secondary gauges for fuel information and engine temperature, plus a push-button electronic front cargo release. The engineers from Can-Am have taken the already successful and well-equipped Spyder RT and added more improvements which make it a better touring machine than ever. They have added features such as the AM/FM audio system with iPod compatibility, an automatic speed-adjusting volume, hated passenger handgrips with control, secondary gauges (fuel information, engine temperature) and a push-button electronic front cargo release, all in an effort to create the ultimate touring reverse trike.

Technology-wise, it features the same modern technologies as the base model, such as the Vehicle Stability System and the Cruise Control as standard. At its heart lies the dependable, liquid-cooled, 998cc, Rotax V-Twin powerhouse which produces 100 horsepower and 108 Nm of torque.
