The bike has a 5-speed, manual or semi-automatic, reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 165 / 55 R15 front tire and a 225 / 50 R15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 270 mm discs with Brembo 4-piston fixed calipers in the front and a 270 mm disc with Brembo single-piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm with anti-roll bar, gas-charged FOX PODIUM shocks while the rear was equipped with a swing arm, SACHS monoshock. The wheelbase was 67.52 inches (1715 mm) long.

2014 Can-Am/ Brp Spyder ST-S[edit | edit source]
Addressed for younger or more adventurous riders, the 2014 MY Can-Am Spyder ST-S features revised visuals and a number of performance-oriented improvements to make for an overall more aggressive reverse trike. Improvements such as the machined, six twin-blade spoke Carbon Black Satin front wheels, plus other Carbon Black parts such as the rider footboards, as well as revised front fenders with integrated LED lights, Electronic Cruise Control as standard and a painted A-Arm and front spoiler differentiate the ST-S from the base model and significantly increase its desirability.
In the tech/engine department, it sports, as the base model, the dependable, liquid-cooled, 998cc, Rotax V-twin powerplant which produces 100 horsepower and 108 Nm of torque.
2015 Can-Am/ Brp Spyder ST-S[edit | edit source]
The designers from Can-am have decided to take the ST to the next level, in the embodiment of the 2015 MY Can-am Spyder ST-S, with bold and youthful new paint and graphics schemes. Features such as the machined, six twin-blade spoke Carbon Black Satin wheels, Carbon black handlebars, footpegs, rear sprocket and springs, the painted A-Arm and the front spoiler, the two-tone paint scheme with the special RS-S graphics, plus the black suede seat with red stitching make it more desirable among Can-am reverse trike fans.
