The Can-Am Spyder Roadster RS was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Can-Am between 2007 and 2011. Max torque was 76.71 ft/lbs (104.0 Nm) @ 6250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 103.8 HP (77.4 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 97.0mm bore x 68.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate.

It came with a 165/65-r14 front tire and a 225/50-r15 rear tire.
