Davidson family

Hailing from Aberdeen, Scotland, the Davidsons emigrated to America and settled in Milwaukee in 1871 or '72. William Davidson and his wife had two daughters and three sons, Arthur, Walter and William A.. In the fledgling Harley-Davidson company. Arthur was the salesman. Walter the general manager (he built the first bikes) and William A. the works manager. Walter and his wife, Emma, had three sons, Gordon, Walter Jnr and Robert.
