The Derbi GP1250 Racing was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Derbi between 2006 and 2009. Max torque was 39.83 ft/lbs (54.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 21.99 HP (16.4 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 244.3 cubic centimeters.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-14 front tire and a 140/60-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 40 mm upside-down fork. while the rear was equipped with a double-shock. The GP1250 Racing was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 306.44 pounds (139.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.

The 2006 Derbi GP1 250 boasts one of the most aggressive designs in its class, sure to fit the taste for the younger among riders. It has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder engine paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and can produce a claimed 22 horsepower and 54 Nm of torque. Also, it comes with a disc braking system, both in the front and in the rear, a telescopic front fork, a rear mono-shock suspension, an aluminum twin spar frame, a dual seat, an under-seat storage compartment, a digital instrument cluster and passenger grab rails.
