The Ducati 888SP5 was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1994. Max torque was 62.7 ft/lbs (85.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 116.0 HP (86.5 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 888.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 42mm Ohlins adjustable upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins adjustable monoshock.

The 1993 Ducati 888SP5 boasts a maximum power output of 118 horsepower and 94 Nm of torque from its electronically-injected, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 888cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerhouse that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive.

Also, it comes with an Ohlins, fully-adjustable rear monoshock suspension coupled to a 41mm Showa fully-adjustable upside down fork, Brembo brakes with dual front discs, a single seat with lumbar support for the rider, a dual exhaust system, a small windscreen, a full-fairing and analogue instrumentation dials.
