The Ducati 959 Panigale was a v2, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 2016 and 2018. Max torque was 75.24 ft/lbs (102.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 146.84 HP (109.5 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 100.0mm bore x 60.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 955.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the slipper and self-servo wet multiplate clutch with hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 200/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. four-piston calipers. radially mounted. in the front and a single disc. abs. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a öhlins nix30 43mm fully adjustable usd fork with tin treatment. electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment with semi-active mode while the rear was equiped with a fully adjustable ohlins ttx36 unit. electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment with semi-active mode. adjustable linkage: progressive/flat. aluminium single-sided swingarm.
