The Ducati BRISK 48 was a Single cylinder, 2-stroke, Air-cooled Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1961. Claimed horsepower was 1.34 HP (1.0 KW) @ 4200 RPM.

A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 47.6 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 1-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.00x18 front tire and a 2.00x18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, dual shocks.

In 1961 Ducati introduce the Brisk 48. This model was equipped with 2 stroke engine, a single speed and sold until 1965. The tubular frame was replaced by a pressed steel design in 1962.
