The Ducati Hypermotard was a liquid-cooled, Testastretta 11-degree L-Twin, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder Supermotard motorcycle produced by Ducati between 2007 and 2015. Max torque was 65.65 ft/lbs (89.0 Nm) @ 7750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 109.96 HP (82.0 KW) @ 9250 RPM.
The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, Testastretta 11-degree L-Twin, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder. A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 821.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.
The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the slipper and self-servo wet multiplate clutch mechanically operated.
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Monobloc Brembo calipers, ABS in the front and a 245 mm disc, 2-piston caliper, ABS in the rear. It sports the massively powerful, liquid-cooled, Testastretta 11° L-Twin with four Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, which boasts an awesome 110 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. Technology-wise, it features the Ducati Safeti Pack (DSP), which includes a Bosch 9MP ABS as standard, plus the Ducati Traction Control (DTC). This pack makes this supermotard a whole lot safer, but also improves its performance, whether in busy city traffic or on a track Sunday. Also, the ride-by-wire offers three engine mappings, so the rider can adjust the power delivery to better suit his or her needs.
In the aesthetics department, it has an edgy overall design, with well-defined lines and aggressive touches, such as the red subframe and the bright yellow rear coil.
