The Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP was a v2, four-stroke Supermotard motorcycle produced by Ducati between 2016 and 2018. Max torque was 70.07 ft/lbs (95.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 107.68 HP (80.3 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the slipper and self-servo wet multiplate clutch mechanically operated.

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. four-piston calipers. radially mounted. in the front and a single disc. abs. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a ohlins fully adjustable 48mm usd forks while the rear was equipped with a progressive linkage with fully adjustable ohlins monoshock. aluminum single-sided swingarm. The Hypermotard 939 SP was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 392.42 pounds (178.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.98 inches (1498 mm) long.
2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP[edit | edit source]
If the Ducati Hypermotard 939 was not gritty enough for you, then the SP version might just suit your taste. This machine has been fitted with a race-grade, fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension package, Marchesini forged-aluminum wheels, for a lower unsprung weight, and the riding modes from the 1299 Panigale, which make for one of the most powerful supermotards available on the market up to date.
In addition, it boasts a dry weight of just 181 kg, 3 kg lighter then the base model, thanks to components such as a carbon-fiber front mudguard and cam belt covers. Also, it has a race-style radial master brake cylinder with a five-position adjustable lever and a dedicated seat especially designed for maximum grip.
2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939[edit | edit source]
The 2016 MY Ducati Hypermotard 939, in its first year of production, has been equipped with the new, Testastretta 11-degree powerhouse, which allows it to produce a claimed 113 horsepower and 98 Nm of torque. Also, the Italian engineers have designed a new trellis frame to house this engine, which also improves the cornering abilities of this supermotard.
Technology-wise, it comes with the Ducati Safety Pack (DSP), which includes an 8-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and a Brembo braking system with Bosch 9MP ABS, for improved rider safety, no matter the road conditions, as well as a ride-by-wire system that offers three selectable riding modes.
2018 Ducati HYPERMOTARD 939[edit | edit source]
For 2018, Ducati has unveiled the new Hypermotard 939 with new design and mechanical updates. The Hypermotard 939 is powered by a 937 cc Testastretta 11 degree engine that produces 113 HP (84.3 Kw) and 97.9 Nm (72,03 lb-ft) of torque. The stylish satin withe color combined with red frame and wheels enchance the design and style of the motorcycle.
