The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, SOHC, desmodromic 2 valves per cylinder. A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 992.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the dry multiplate with hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Showa fully-adjustable upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage.
