The Ducati Monster S4R S Tricolore was a v2, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Ducati between 2003 and 2008. Max torque was 76.64 ft/lbs (103.9 Nm) @ 10600 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 125.65 HP (93.7 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 100.0mm bore x 63.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the dry multiplate with hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a ohlins 43 mm upside-down fully adjustable fork with tin while the rear was equipped with a progressive linkage with fully adjustable ohlins monoshock. aluminum single-sided swingarm. The 2007 MY Ducati S4R Testastretta is, arguably, the most powerful liter-class naked machine available on the market, and has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 998cc, Testastretta powerhouse, that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 130 horsepower and 105 Nm of torque.

Unlike the previous S4R, this version has received upgrades, such as the redesigned front end, which is more aggressive, an increased power output, and a lower dry weight, making it one of the most desired machines in its class among Ducati fans, and not only.
