The Ducati Sport 1000S was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Ducati between 2006 and 2010. Max torque was 67.27 ft/lbs (91.2 Nm) @ 9300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 88.91 HP (66.3 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 94.0mm bore x 71.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 992.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate with hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-r17 front tire and a 180/55-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a twin fully adjustable shock absorber. The Sport 1000S was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 399.04 pounds (181.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.1 inches (1425 mm) long.

The 2006 MY Ducati Sport 1000 Monoposto has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 992cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 92 horsepower and 91 Nm of torque.

Also, it has standard fittings such as a single seat, a side-mounted Sachs fully-adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension coupled to a 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down telescopic fork, an analogue and digital instrumentation panel, low-mounted handlebars, laced wheels, a large round headlight and mid-mounted foot controls.

The 2007 MY Ducati Sport 1000 Monoposto has been fitted with a single seat, a side-mounted Sachs fully-adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension coupled to a 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down telescopic fork, an analogue and digital instrumentation panel, low-mounted handlebars, laced wheels, a large round headlight and mid-mounted foot controls.

This modern cruiser also boasts a maximum power output of 92 horsepower and 91 Nm of torque from its air-cooled, four-stroke, fuel-injected, 992cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerplant that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive.

The "S"-suffixed version of the Ducati Sport 1000 has been fitted with a half-fairing and a windscreen, which gives it a look almost identical to Borgo Panigale's sport bikes from the 70's and is sure to fit the taste for the more nostalgic among riders, but who still want all the perks that come with modern technologies and parts.
