The GAS GAS Contact 280 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by GAS GAS between 2016 and 2017.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 272.2 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the gg 1/3 hydraulic-diaphragm-system.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-21 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. floating wave discs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. wave disks. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a olle 40 mm bar diam. while the rear was equipped with a olle mono shock absorber (1 way). The Contact 280 was fitted with a 0.92 Gallon (3.50 Liters) fuel tank.
