The GAS GAS EC250 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by GAS GAS between 2002 and 2019. Max torque was 33.63 ft/lbs (45.6 Nm) @ 7628 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 27.36 HP (20.4 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 66.4mm bore x 72.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.3 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multidisc in oil bath. magura clutch pump.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. wave floating disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a single disc. wave disc, 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a kyb ø48 mm, aos system, closed cartridge while the rear was equipped with a sachs hydraulic mono shock absorber. The EC250 was fitted with a 2.59 Gallon (9.80 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 231.49 pounds (105.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.27 inches (1480 mm) long.
