The GAS GAS EC450F was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by GAS GAS between 2004 and 2016.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 63.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multidisc in oil bath.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. galfer disc ´wave´ with 2 pistons nissin caliper in the front and a single disc. galfer disc ´wave´ with 1 pistons nissin caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi shiver inverted ø48 mm, closed cartridge while the rear was equipped with a reiger mono shock. spring preload, rebound and compression high/low speed.. The EC450F was fitted with a 2.17 Gallon (8.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 253.53 pounds (115.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.66 inches (1490 mm) long.
