The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 72.5mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 247.7 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the ajp clutch and brake master cylinders..
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-21 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. floating disk, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single disc. 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi 40 mm aluminum right-sight-up while the rear was equipped with a reiger (2-way) hydraulic mono shock absorber. The Raga Factory Replica 250 was fitted with a 0.66 Gallon (2.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 144.4 pounds (65.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.17 inches (1325 mm) long.
